Cerezen is a unique, pioneering medical device that effectively treats TMD (Temporomandibular Disorders) and associated symptoms such as Jaw Pain, Teeth Grinding, Clenching and Headaches.
Clinically effective , and custom made to fit your ears, Cerezen devices can be worn day or night. They’re discreet and comfortable because they’re specially-made for you.
These conditions are often collectively known as Temporomandibular Disorders or TMD.
The two custom-made, 3D printed hollow inserts sit comfortably in each ear canal; the nearest access point to the temporomandibular joint.
The Science Behind Cerezen
When you move your jaw, your ear canal opens and closes. As the ear canal is so close to the temporomandibular joint (TMJ), it makes it the perfect place to target the source of your symptoms.
When your customised Cerezen devices are inserted into the ear canal, they retain the shape of your ear canal in the open jaw position because they are made from a 3D printed rigid material.
The Cerezen devices effectively encourage the jaw to return to a relaxed position and provides symptom relief.
“The concern with a bite splint is that we’re not actually telling our patients to stop biting, we’re just saying they can bite down on this and they’re not going to cause any damage to their teeth. What I would like to do, is to prevent my patients from doing it in the first place. That’s why Cerezen is unique and really effective – because we’re stopping the source of the problem.”

In clinical studies, over 70% of participants indicated excellent satisfaction with the devices and achieved relief from their TMD symptoms.
First, you need to have been diagnosed with teeth grinding or TMD by your healthcare provider. Once that has happened they can take your ear impressions, or refer you to another professional who can take them.
Because each device is hollow, sound waves can enter your ear as normal and your hearing will not diminish. There may be a slight alteration in tone, but not in volume.
Feedback from clinical trials was overwhelmingly positive. As the Cerezen devices are custom-made for the wearer, this ensures comfort during wear as well as ease of fitting and removal. They’re made from medical grade polymers that have been safely used in hearing aids for decades.
Cerezen devices are a conservative and completely reversible treatment. They can be removed easily, and do not affect the ears.
